Replay available – Tracking AMD progression at the cellular scale
Last week’s webinar focused on the use of the rtx1 AO retinal camera for assessing age-related macular degeneration (AMD, non-neovascular).
Prof. Paques and Prof. Rossi, two ophthalmology professors, explained how the rtx1 high-resolution images enable detecting early changes in AMD and monitoring disease progression over short timescales. Prof. Paques also showed how the TFI module brings new sensitive information on RPE changes in early AMD. The 2 experts discussed about new candidate biomarkers of AMD that they are investigating, and the potential of this technology for assessing treatment response.
We are grateful to Prof. Paques and Prof. Rossi for sharing their insights and their vision in this session.
