Novel clinical findings with rtx1 got published
Published last month, 4 Adaptive Optics studies report novel findings in retinal diseases, diabetes, and in subjects with high body mass index.
The authors, clinical research teams from Europe, Australia and Japan, used the rtx1™ Adaptive Optics camera to examine patient’s retinas at the cellular level. It revealed alterations of the cone photoreceptor mosaic and of the retinal artery walls, that are not visible with conventional examinations.
