Nicolas Lefaudeux appointed as R&D project leader at Imagine Eyes

Imagine Eyes’ team warmly welcomes a new recruit, Nicolas Lefaudeux, who will lead R&D projects to further develop the company’s brand of innovative retinal imaging products. “I am thrilled to join Imagine Eyes and tackle the challenge of delivering advanced retinal imaging products that will strongly benefit visual health. Nicolas is a creative scientist and engineer who already authored 15 patents in the area of high-tech photonics. Before joining Imagine Eyes, he spent two years developing innovative products for automotive lighting at Valeo Lighting Systems. Previously, as an engineer at Imagine Optic, he designed and built adaptive optics solutions for high power lasers, including new deformable mirrors that quickly became a reference in the market. Nicolas built his first job experience in the USA, at Bossa Nova Technologies, where he developed polarization-imaging cameras for applications in the cosmetics industry, as well as laser ultrasonic systems for non-destructive testing in metallic materials. Nicolas graduated from the prestigious Institut d’Optique Graduate School in 2006.
