Dietmar Korn appointed as Electronic Engineer & Scientist at Imagine Eyes

We are glad to announce that Dietmar Korn has been appointed as Electronics Engineer & Scientist at Imagine Eyes. “Dietmar’s arrival takes our company to a very high level of expertise in electronics: he brings us a key advantage for leading innovation in the area of retinal imaging” says Xavier Levecq, CTO at Imagine Eyes. “I am happy to join Imagine Eyes and develop novel  products for the highly demanding medical market” says Dietmar.

Before joining Imagine Eyes, Dietmar worked for 5 years at Imagine Optic SA where he developed adaptive optics solutions and metrology systems. He acquired extensive skills in optical design, electronic design, industrialization, project management and customer support. His work resulted in several high-tech products, including deformable mirrors which quickly became a reference in the high-power laser market, as well as commercial extreme-UV wavefront sensors for synchrotrons. Dietmar obtained a PhD in electrical engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany in 2013.
