AOimage 3.4 for rtx1 enables fast evaluations of retinal disease progression
How to reduce the time needed for measuring the progression of retinal diseases? And the time required for evaluating the effectiveness of new retinal therapies?
Imagine Eyes’ solution is to track microscopic changes in the retina, which occur over short periods of time.
The rtx1 adaptive optics (AO) retinal camera provides a quick procedure for detecting disease progression or regression at the cellular scale.
With the new AOimage 3.4 software for rtx1, follow-up AO examinations take less than a minute. Within this short time, AO images acquired at different visits are automatically aligned with micrometer precision. Longitudinal changes become detectable early, at the level of individual cells.
