The mirao 52-e uses a patented electromagnetic actuation technology to deform a highly-reflecting membrane. It enables compensating for the wide variety of wavefront errors that affect living eyes with high accuracy. Even eyes suffering from high astigmatism are fully corrected by the mirao 52-e.
It is seamlessly integrated thanks to its small footprint and compliance with electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards (IEC 61010-1, IEC 61326-1 and IEC 60601-1-2).
It can be operated without the need for developing software when used in combination with WaveTune software. Additionally, for software developers, an API is provided.
mu-DM is a new electromagnetic deformable mirror optimized for ophthalmic applications, designed as a single-piece component with integrated electronics.
It corrects ocular aberrations of high Zernike order – up to 10 – thanks to its optimized actuator layout.
Versatile, it can be coupled with the Haso4 first waveront sensor for closed-loop applications.
Based on patented Shack-Hartmann technology, HASO4 first includes a 1584 high-quality micro-lens array in a 4.5 x 3.7 mm² pupil. It provides outstanding performance by combining high precision (λ/100 RMS) and large measuring range (defocus up to 66 D), which together enable to accurately assess the wide variety of wavefront aberrations that affect living eyes.
Its ergonomic design and the USB 3.0 connectivity allow an easy plug and play installation. Delivered with WaveView wavefront metrology software, it takes only a few clicks to perform wavefront measurement, wavefront reconstruction, or to visualize the spot image and raw camera data.
In ophthalmic AO systems, HASO4 first ideally complements our deformable mirrors and WaveTune software.
WaveTune is a unique application that combines wavefront measurement and correction features with extensive instrument calibration and diagnostics functions. It provides an ergonomic, all-in-one adaptive optics PC workspace.
Included in Imagine Eyes’ AOkit, WaveTune is perfectly adapted to our deformable mirrors and wavefront sensor. In many cases, it is the only software tool that you need to drive your AO system in both closed and open loop.
