Acquire images with the rtx1
Transfer to AOdetect with 1 click
AOdetect* is an application for supervised segmentation of ultrahigh resolution images acquired with the rtx1 Adaptive Optics (AO) retinal camera.
It computes local descriptors for analyzing the distribution of parafoveal cone cells and the structure of retinal arterioles. These metrics provide candidate AO biomarkers for clinical investigations.
With AOdetect, all automated segmentations can be manually corrected in a few clicks.
*Outside the European Union, AOdetect is for research use only.

Thanks to its high-precision alignment algorithm, the rtx1 delivers follow-up images that are perfectly aligned with the baseline image.
AOdetect enables analyzing the exact same region of interest in baseline and follow-up images, with only a few clicks.
NEW: with each new visit, follow-up analyses are automatically updated.
It enables monitoring a specific group of cells or a chosen vascular section over time.

Equipped with AOdetect option, the rtx1 enables to obtain cellular and microvascular metrics in only 3 steps :
AOdetect has empowered clinical researchers to investigate a wide array of candidate biomarkers for assessing retinal anatomy and pathologies.
A number of peer-reviewed publications describe new insights into the retina in various pathologies, enabled by the rtx1’s unrivaled resolution as well as AOdetect analyzes.
