WEBINAR — Adaptive Optics Imaging: Expanded and Streamlined

Join us online on July 8th, at 5:00pm CEST, for a 45-min webinar with three expert users of the rtx1 AO retinal camera. They will share their experience and vision on three newly available capabilities in AO retinal imaging:

  • Fast protocol workflows for prospective clinical studies and trials
  • Examinations of the retinal pigment epithelium at the cellular level
  • Assessment of the retinal neurovascular response

Questions from the audience are welcome for an interactive Q&A session.

About the panelists:

Michel Paques, MD PhD, is a professor of ophthalmology and researcher at the Quinze-Vingts National Eye Hospital and Vision Institute in Paris. His research addresses the medical applications of ultrahigh-resolution retinal imaging in humans. Prof. Paques has pioneered the development of clinical applications for adaptive optics ophthalmoscopy in a variety of retinal diseases, including early, intermediate and late AMD with geographic atrophy.

Carolina De Ciuceis, MD, PhD, is Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the School of Sports Medicine and Physical Exercise, Department of Clinical and Experimental Sciences, University of Brescia, and 2nd Division of Internal Medicine, ASST Spedali Civili di  Brescia, Italy. In her research work, she investigates potential markers of cardiovascular risk from retinal microcirculation and microvasculature, including with AO imaging.

Danilo Andrade de Jesus, PhD, is
